Elijah

After studying at Otis Parsons School of Design and having the opportunity to work with Gustave Tassell of the House of Norell and Galanos, Keryn Dizon continued her path in the fashion industry. Three years after the launch of her capsule collection of matte jersey dresses, Keryn moved back to New York to pursue a designing career working in a variety of clothing companies ranging from J Crew to Federated Brands. After 10 years of experience behind her, Keryn Dizon launches Elijah – a carefully selected collection of blouses and dresses for the 2007 Spring season. Aimed to combine chic elegance and luxury with effortless practicality, her first collection comprised to meticulously crafted and carefully draped blouses and dress, all made with the finest of Swiss mercerized cotton.

Working in Corporate America for several years, Keryn understood the importance of blending comfort and style. With an initial motive to spice up her wardrobe as a pregnant woman, she quickly realized that maternal or not, all women are drawn to easy luxury. Thus, Elijah introduces the fashion world to a collection that can be worn at a board meeting, cocktail party or shopping mall.

Impressing the likes of Rachel McAdams, Eva Longoria and Drew Barrymore with its refined beauty, Elijah is catching media attention with its distinctive style. Her 2009 Spring collection ranges from delicate layered silk dresses in complementing color blocks and paint splashed print blouses to fully reversible modal jersey tanks and parachute jumpers and bomber jackets. Using a palette of bright berry and citrus colors, and earthy rose, stone and charcoal hues, every design evokes a sophisticated yet youthful spirit by flattering the figure without rigid or form-fitting lines.
With a successful launch in 2007, Elijah aims to bring distinctive pieces to those seeking class and elegance without the fuss.
